Detailed Itinerary

    • Day 1: Arrive at Lhasa (No meals)

      Take your flight from home to Lhasa airport. Start your wonderful adventure to China from the sunlight city. Be met by your guide at the Lhasa airport and transferred to hotel. You will have 1 free day to adjust the high altitude in Tibet.

    • Day 2: Lhasa  (Breakfast/Lunch)

      Highlight:   Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street

      Firstly you will have a half day tour in Xiamen by taking a ferry to Gulangyu Island, the Island of Pianos for its natural beauty,colonial style architecture and a myriad of interesting piano museums. World Architecture Expo and Longtou Road Commercial Street are also waiting for your visiting. Continue your tour to Zhangzhou by car(1 hour). After arrival, you will visit Zhangzhou Millennium Ancient City and Ming and Qing Street, both are the most concentrated and representative places in Zhangzhou city.

    • Day 3: Lhasa (Breakfast/Lunch)

      Highlight: Drepung Monastery, Norbulingka and Sera Monastery

      Two must-see monasteries are today's highlights. You will visit Drepung Monastery - one of the three great monasteries in Tibet, then Norbulingka - the largest traditional garden in Tibet, and then Sera Monastery where you can see monk's debating live-show.

    • Day 4: Lhasa - Shigatse(Breakfast/Lunch)

      Highlight: Yamdrok Lake

      Go to Shigatse via Gyantse. Be transferred to Yamdrok Lake with 3 hours by car. You will see the most beautiful and sacred lakes in Tibet. Its turquoise waters, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and vast grasslands, create a breathtaking landscape.Have a picnic at the Yamdrok Lake and immerse yourself deeply. When you stop at Gyantse, visit Palcho Monastery. The huge white pagoda and murals are its highlights.

    • Day 5:  Shigatse-EBC (Breakfast/Lunch)

      Highlight: Tashilunpo Monastery

      Visit Tashilunpo Monastery in Shigatse in the morning and then continue your way to Rongbuk Monastery near the EBC. Today it will be a 6.5 hours journey by car. However you will not be tired or bored because there are stunning views along the way await. Have an unforgettable evening on the Roof of the World, enjoying an amazing view of the Everest at sunset.

    • Day 6:   Tingri–Shigatse(Breakfast/Lunch)

      Highlight: Mt. Everest Base Camp

      Enjoy the unforgettable moment of watching the sunrise paint Mount Everest in very early morning. All the tough of your journey will be rewarded. After that, you will be driven back to Shigatse(8.5 hours).

    • Day 7:   Shigatse–Lhasa(Breakfast/Lunch)

      Highlight: Yarlung Tsangpo Canyon

      You will go back to Lhasa by car in the morning since it will be a 6-hour journey. But it is also an amazing opportunity to enjoy the marvelous scenery on the way. You will definitely impressed by plateau lakes, rivers, snowy mountains and traditional Tibetan villages along the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon. Arrive at Lhasa and have a good rest.

    • Day8:  Depart from Lhasa (Breakfast)

      Be transferred to Lhasa airport to take a flight home. Your China tour will end soon but your memory of China will last for days.
